Brazilian Butt Lift

BBl or Gluteoplasty is an aesthetic buttock plastic surgery. Simultaneously with a buttock lift, an increase in this area can also be performed. With the help of buttock plasty, a beautiful relief is recreated (or created anew), the body is given seductive outlines.

General Information:

There are two ways to shape the buttocks today – with injections of your own fat, or implants.

Lipofilling is used when the amount to be added is relatively small. With the help of this technique, a pronounced infragluteal fold is filled, this allows you to reduce the effect of “hanging” the buttocks. Lipofilling is also used to model the upper part of the buttocks.

The procedure can be repeated an unlimited number of times until the optimal effect is achieved and maintained. The effect lasts, on average, from six months to a year.

With Gluteoplasty using implants, the result is immediately visible (it can be assessed the very next day after surgery) and lasts for many years. In addition, the need to repeat the procedure disappears. After Gluteoplasty and final healing, the scars are almost invisible.

Gluteoplasty Operation:

The implant placement procedure is performed under general anesthesia and lasts up to an hour and a half. During the surgical intervention, strictly measured implants are installed for the patient, in each case they are selected individually, based on the parameters, the state of the tissues and the desired result.

There are various ways to place an implant. Basically, it is placed either above the muscle or deep into the muscle. If the implant is located above the muscle, there is a possibility that the postoperative period will be easier than when the implant is inserted into the muscle. However, such an installation is not always possible – if your own integumentary tissues are not enough, the implant may be noticeable.

Combined procedures are often performed – first an implant is installed, and then lipofilling is additionally performed to correct and improve the result.

Rehabilitation and Recovery Period:

The rehabilitation period generally lasts about four months. As the healing progresses, the discomfort in the buttocks area is reduced and the suture becomes invisible.

The buttocks are an area of the body that is actively used in everyday life. In addition, with Gluteoplasty, muscle layers are affected. Therefore, rehabilitation is associated with some additional inconvenience. The patient is advised to sit at a minimum and can only sit at a certain angle.

During the first month after Gluteoplasty, strict adherence to all doctor’s recommendations is necessary: wearing compression underwear, taking painkillers and other drugs to relieve muscle tone. Patients are allowed to resume fitness activities two months after surgery.

Contraindications and possible complications

The main contraindications for Gluteoplasty include systemic diseases of the internal organs (in the acute stage), blood clotting disorders, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and other possible violations of the functions of vital systems (cardiovascular, circulatory, endocrine).

Possible complications include hematomas, the development of an inflammatory process, divergence of sutures, as well as capsular contracture – the formation of tissue compaction around the implant. The likelihood of complications (subject to all the doctor’s recommendations in the postoperative period) is minimal and does not exceed a few percent.
